(Conventions of Genre - Fashion) Everyone on a day to day basis always relates skinny jeans, plimsoles and a v-neck tshirt to be the main dress code for indie boys, and skinny jeans with boots to be the iconic indie girl. In some cases this is right, but there is more to 'indie' people than just plain old skinny jeans. Also on top of that, people who listen to rock music are usually put together with the colour black, in most cases this stereotype is correct. Below I am going to place pictures of indie kids, rock boys and also scene followers. Most of them actually look the same, as the same dress code usually links them together.
