Equipment I used

For my photoshoot which I did with Nicole and Sarah who make up a band for my magazine "The TT" I used many things to make the photographs look more professional than them looking average.
I used: different studio lightings, a fan, a gold studio filter, a guitar, a microphone, a microphone stand and obviously a camera and a tripod for that camera. Some of them are show below:

Creating My Magazine

After editing the pictures and creating my layout, I then went onto In Design and started to create my magazine. Below are pictures of the three pictures I created (they're not finished yet, it is just showing the middle stages of creating my magazine.

Contents Page:
As you can see from the picture above, this is my contents page. I have not completely finished this as I am going to make final changes to the font after I have finished the other two pages. I edited this picture myself on Photoshop and then placed it into In Design to go onto my contents page.
To keep the magazine ethos style the same I am going to keep the colours Red, Blue and Black throughout my magazine as it will fit in with the other two and look like they all belong to the same magazine. I also have not used the actual words "contents" on my contents page because I do not think I need to as I have already placed a date at the top of the page.

Double Page Spread:
The fonts I have chosen to use on this double-page have yet to be entered onto this as I am going to do that last once I have the layout and text in the way that I want it to be.
As the two pictures I have used have been edited by me in Photoshop I think it looks better than the orginal pictures, as now there is a clear background and a clear distance between Nicole and Sarah even though they're in the same band. By making one of the pictures bigger than the other, it will hopefully grab more people to look at that picture as it is a better statement picture than the other once which I have used.
Finally, I have kept the colours of the magazine the same again as I have used Red, Blue and Black once again.

Pictures I Have Used/Edited in my magazine

For my magazine, I decided that I was going to edit some of the pictures which I was going to put in my magazine, basically so that it would look more like a professional magazine. For my contents page, I used a picture of Sarah (which I shot in the studio) but I changed the brightness, contrast and colours of this picture. As Sarah has blonde hair, I wanted to empathise this so with buttons on photoshop I raised the yellow colour up and also I wanted the back to stand out on her leotard, so once again I altered the colours of this.
